The beauty after the storm

Eventually the rain will stop, the sky will clear, and you’ll be grateful you weathered the storm.

It’s been such a tough couple of years for so many people. My heart is breaking for all the life’s taken too soon either by depression, careless accidents, and sicknesses. What can we do to help? How do we explain that tomorrow truly is a new day and that the sun will shine again? Our current situation isn’t permanent and there really are things to be grateful for in each day. Yes the World is crazy and scary but it’s not fair for people to leave too soon and leave us behind unable to understand and wondering if there was something more we could have done. It’s time we take the extra minute and ask others how they are. Listen and be there for each other.

So many hurting people. So many scared people. Too many not realizing they do have purpose, meaning, and significance and not realizing what they bring to others around them. Feeling that they have no value or bring no value to those around them and simply wanting to escape. Who will notice? Who will truly care?

Maybe life is just too difficult right now forgetting that through pain and adversity we grow. We become stronger and we learn lessons to help others in their time of need.

Maybe we hate the rain but we must remember the rain brings rainbows, it brings flowers, it brings freshness back into the earth and it is needed.

This is true in all situations. We need to be broken to become stronger. We need to go through pain to be more understanding and sympathetic as well as to learn.

Each day truly is a gift. Remember to let the people you love and appreciate know that you do. Ask for help if you need it. There are people around you who truly care and want to help and be there for you.

Sorry I haven’t blogged in a bit and this was quick and I didn’t go back through and check it. I feel it is important so wanted to share briefly for now. Thank you.

Stay safe, healthy and positive
